It is completely free and a very simple way to initially assess how PNA FISH would fit into your lab.

Here's how it works:

 
     

  • AdvanDx ships a Slide Demo Pak with Fixation Solution, 10 Slides, Slide Info Sheet, Instructions and a Prepaid Return FedEx Pak.

  • Start preparing slides from positive blood cultures.

  • Label slides and note Slide ID and Gram Stain result in Slide Info Sheet.

  • Slides can be stored for up to 30 days.

  • When you have prepared 10 slides place in prepaid FedEx Pak along with Slide Info Sheet.

  • Make sure slides are and Slide Info Sheet are properly labeled.

  • Drop off with FedEx

  • Slides are Overnighted to AdvanDx.

  • Once received at AdvanDx, the appropriate PNA FISH test is performed.

  • Results and select result images are documented in a PowerPoint presentation

  • PowerPoint with result is emailed back the same day
